BBC RADIO BERKSHIRE INTERVIEW

Claire Roberts Featured on BBC Radio Berkshire

Power of Pilates founder Claire Roberts recently joined BBC Radio Berkshire to share the story behind one of Berkshire's longest-established Pilates studios.

Our BBC Radio Berkshire Interview

Being invited onto BBC Radio Berkshire was a wonderful opportunity to share the Power of Pilates story with listeners across the county. During the live interview, Claire spoke about how Power of Pilates began, why Pilates has become such an important part of her life, and how the studio has grown over the past 19 years.

Claire's own journey into Pilates started after serious back problems and spinal surgery. Having experienced first-hand how Pilates helped rebuild her strength, confidence and quality of life, she wanted to create a welcoming studio where people of all ages and abilities could enjoy the same benefits.

Why Pilates Is for Everyone

One of the key messages Claire shared during the interview was that Pilates is not just for dancers, athletes or naturally flexible people. At Power of Pilates, many clients arrive because they simply want to move better, feel stronger, improve their posture, manage aches and pains, or find a form of exercise they genuinely enjoy.

Our classes are designed for real people. Whether someone is completely new to exercise, returning after injury, looking to build confidence, or ready to try Reformer Pilates for the first time, the aim is always the same: to help people feel better in their own bodies.

Opening Our Crowthorne Studio

The interview also covered the opening of our second studio in Crowthorne. After almost two decades serving clients in Lower Earley, Reading and Wokingham, opening a dedicated Reformer Pilates studio in Crowthorne was an exciting next step for the business.

The Crowthorne studio allows even more people across Crowthorne, Bracknell, Sandhurst and the surrounding areas to experience small-group Reformer Pilates in a friendly, supportive environment.

Best Pilates Studio in Berkshire

The interview followed another exciting milestone for Power of Pilates after being named Best Pilates Studio in Berkshire for the second consecutive year. The award reflects the dedication of our instructors and the continued support of thousands of clients who have trusted us with their Pilates journey.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who voted for us, to our wonderful team, and to BBC Radio Berkshire for inviting Claire to share the Power of Pilates story.
