Meet your Pilates instructor - Lisa

After years of fitness training, hitting the gym and completing the London Marathon, my body started telling me that I needed to be careful - my muscles were always tight and my joints sore. I needed to start building my strength from the inside out, something my cardio classes were not giving me. My physio introduced me to Pilates and I haven't looked back since. Pilates is for everyone and it embraces that mind to body connection that I was missing in my routine.

Pilates soon became my weekly body MOT which allowed me to enjoy my other fitness hobbies pain free and with noticeably quicker recovery time. Pilates has improved my core strength, back health and flexibility, but most of all gives me the space to breathe, re-focus and achieve mental balance.

My passion for Pilates led me to becoming fully qualified, and over time I've developed a teaching style that is uplifting and motivating. I love to see my clients enjoy the amazing benefits of Pilates.

During each session, I bring awareness to the position of your head, neck and spine to ensure proper breathing and technique. My classes have a steady flow and I adapt the exercises to appeal to all abilities. I enjoy incorporating small equipment to my Pilates sessions, adding another level of variety and engagement.

As a mum of three I'm very aware of how busy our lives can get, which is why I believe Pilates should be part of everyone's routine, bringing calm, strength and a renewed sense of energy.
