I discovered first-hand the benefits of Pilates, which ignited a passion to learn and teach others of the countless benefits to the practice.
Having had corrective surgery for scoliosis in my late teens, it wasn't until a decade later that I truly found Pilates and discovered the impressive results it could achieve. Feeling physically stronger and more agile than at any point during my twenties, I felt compelled to pursue training in both equipment and mat work Pilates methods, all affiliated with Alan Herdman Pilates- a giant in the Pilates world!
My training was highly remedial and included the treatment of both physical and postural conditions as well as neurological conditions, such as Parkinsons and MS.
I try to bring energy and enthusiasm to my teaching and am now on a mission to show people the power of Pilates and that through purposeful practice, connecting body and mind, everyone is capable of improving their posture, mobility, strength & wellbeing.
