Pilates is the secret to Pippa Middleton's amazing body

Pippa Middleton’s has Pilates to thank for her
enviable figure and perfect posture. Her toned body and derriere has
rocketed her into the spotlight since the Royal Wedding - and she owes it
all to her weekly Pilates sessions. Pippa says:
“As someone who is always 'on the go’, Pilates has been a wonderful escape
from my busy lifestyle in London. Whether it’s 7am in the morning or 7pm at
night I always leave feeling calm, refreshed and invigorated.
Over the past few months I have noticed a huge difference in my core
strength. From breathing techniques, muscle toning to overall flexibility
and relaxation, my Pilates sessions have become something of a weekly
necessity that keeps me fit, happy and energized.”
Pilates
is championed by scores of A-listers, including Victoria Beckham, Elle
MacPherson,
Jennifer Aniston and
64-year-old Felicity Kendall showcased her amazing flexibility on 2010's
Strictly Come Dancing -quite literally bending over backwards to show off
the effects of her intensive Pilates regime. Kate Winslett insists her
amazing figure is due to "20 minutes of Pilates every day".
Pilates is popular with many A list celebrities as it creates longer, leaner
looking muscles without bulking the muscles up. Pilates takes you through a
series of strength and mobility exercises which lengthen and strengthen your
muscles, concentrating on slow, controlled, flowing movements. Working with
your core muscles, Pilates builds strength from within, initiating every
movement through engaging your deep abdominals and
stabilising your torso. The core muscles are the body's natural corset,
drawing the superficial abs in and giving you a flat stomach.
Pilates also focuses on posture and graceful, efficient movement. The
overall effect is a taller, leaner posture – and a flatter stomach too!
So if you want the Pippa effect, try Pilates!
